Wild Ambition
Women walking together on a sunlit outdoor trail

Wild Ambition · Come on your own

Solo-friendly adventure trips for women.

Your own decision. A shared adventure. Find women to walk with, think with, and bring your next move to.

No payment or commitment to inquire.

You don't need a group to find yours.

Arrive as yourself

Join a small group of women without organising friends to come along. Connection grows through shared effort, conversation and time together, not a networking pitch.

Choose your kind of wild

A guided 1:1 day, a group adventure, or a flagship retreat. Tell us what you're drawn to and what feels like a stretch, then talk through the fit.

Ask the practical questions

Know the activity demands, who's leading, where you'll sleep and how you'll arrive. Outdoor adventure carries risks; clear information matters more than a promise of risk-free travel.

Safety & preparation

Get the details before you commit.

Every experience is different. These are the questions to discuss with us, not guarantees about arrangements that haven't been confirmed.

01

The activity, not just the scenery

Ask about distance, elevation, terrain, water conditions and required skills for the experience you choose. Share concerns about your fitness or access needs privately with us so we can discuss suitability.

02

Who's leading and what happens if plans change

Before booking, ask who leads each activity, what qualifications they hold, what equipment is provided, and how weather changes or emergencies are handled. Confirm the arrangements for your particular trip.

03

Arrival, accommodation and getting around

Discuss arrival times, transport, sleeping arrangements and whether a private or shared bedroom is available. Travelling solo does not automatically mean a private bedroom or included airport transfers.

04

Your travel responsibilities

Check official destination travel advice and entry requirements for your passport. Ask an insurer whether your cover includes the planned activities and emergency medical care or evacuation. Confirm written prices, inclusions and cancellation terms before buying flights.

Ask us before making plans

What to expect together.

The exact schedule depends on your experience. On flagship retreats, adventure and professional work belong to the same story.

  1. 01

    Move together

Shared trail time and outdoor experiences give conversation somewhere to go. Ask which activities are planned, their demands, and how the day is structured.

  2. 02

    Bring the real question

Talk about what you're navigating in work and life. Professional sessions on flagship retreats focus on your career, business or next move, with a peer board and a written 90-day plan.

  3. 03

    Keep the connection

Shared meals and honest conversation make space to know each other beyond a job title. The Wild Collective is a separate, year-round community you can request to join between gatherings.

Where we're going

Nicaragua: volcano and coast, May 12-16, 2027. Colorado: high-country retreat, December 3-6, 2026. Ask about current availability, pricing and the confirmed itinerary.

Adventure with purpose

A guided day outdoors, a group trail experience, or a retreat with hiking and surf. Choose the experience, then discuss the demands and details before committing.

Frequently asked questions

Solo adventure. Professional growth. Your questions.

From arriving on your own to working on your next move, here's what to know before you reach out.

Do I need to bring a friend?

No. You can inquire on your own and join a group experience. Solo-friendly means you don't need to bring a companion; it does not mean travelling unsupported or being sent outdoors alone.

Will I have my own bedroom?

Ask us about the sleeping arrangements for the specific experience. Private bedroom availability, sharing arrangements and any extra charges need to be confirmed before booking. Roommate matching is not promised.

Do I need to be an experienced adventurer?

Tell us about your outdoor experience and what feels comfortable. Ask about the exact activity demands and available alternatives before choosing a trip. A guided 1:1 adventure and a multi-day retreat are different experiences.

What should I ask about safety when travelling solo?

Before booking, confirm who leads each activity, their qualifications, the activity demands, equipment and emergency arrangements. Ask about arrival transport and accommodation. Check official travel advice and insurance coverage for the planned activities. Outdoor adventure carries risks; solo-friendly does not mean risk-free.

How will I connect with the other women?

Group adventures create shared time outdoors, while flagship retreats also bring women together through meals, conversation and professional sessions. You don't need to arrive with a friend. Tell us what you're hoping for and ask about the group and format for your chosen experience.

Is this only about travel?

No. Wild Ambition connects adventure with meaningful professional work and community. Flagship retreats include sessions on your career, business or next move, alongside outdoor experiences and conversation. Dinners, working sessions and The Wild Collective offer other ways in.

What does professional development look like on a retreat?

Flagship retreats combine outdoor experiences with structured work on your career, business or next move. The programme includes peer conversation, a peer board and a written 90-day plan. Ask about the specific session format and itinerary before booking; this is not an accredited qualification or a guarantee of career results.

Is this relevant if I'm employed, between roles or running my own business?

Wild Ambition is for ambitious women at any level - in a company, between roles, consulting or running your own. Bring what's next for you: a leadership challenge, a career decision or a change you're weighing. Share your goals in the inquiry so we can discuss which experience fits.

Do I need to book a retreat to find community?

No. Curated dinners and working sessions, group adventures and The Wild Collective offer other ways to connect. Ask about the available experiences and how to request membership; retreat booking and membership are separate.

Can I join from another country?

You can inquire wherever you're travelling from. The current retreat destinations are Colorado and Nicaragua. Confirm dates, travel arrangements and entry requirements before making plans; Colorado runs December 3-6, 2026.

What happens after I reach out?

Share your interests, goals and concerns in the inquiry form. We follow up personally to discuss the fit and details. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a place or require payment.

Your next move

Come for the adventure. Bring what's next.

Tell us you're coming on your own, what you want from the experience, and anything you're unsure about. Start with a conversation.

We follow up personally. An inquiry is not a booking.
